The indicator’s scale ranges from 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest attainable rank. This meter simply helps calibrate and measure the popularity of your site by looking at several factors (which is not exclusively disclosed by Google) including back links, keyword saturation, and tag information.

Here are a handful of helpful tips to help increase your website’s PageRank:

–    Hammer out 20 or more relevant back links to sites that have a PageRank of 4 or higher
–    Include top priority keywords in your meta and title tags
–    Put your top priority keywords closer to the <body> tag in HTML

By implementing these quick tips, you will increase the chances of gaining a higher PageRank from Google.
